I actually got pretty lucky with this shot. My sister and I were driving up to Multnomah Falls in Portland Oregon, when I spotted this big guy, sitting on the river bank, eating a rainbow trout. I jumped out of the car grabbed my camera, put on the biggest lens I had and added a 2x teleconverter. The eagle was very far away and I wasn't getting the best shots until suddenly he took off with his fish and I was able to snap this one of him. Shot with D700,Nikkor 70-200 with 2x teleconverter shot at 400ml. 1/400 @ F5.6 Iso 400.
